As a child my brother Matt and I have always known that our parents were wise beyond their years. We were lucky to have grown up in a household that was loving and supportive, and where we were encouraged to learn, explore and become who we were destined to be. Throughout the years our parents passed along their words of wisdom, advice, and lessons that they had learned throughout their own lives.
As adults, Matt and I have both utilized all that we learned and enjoyed the opportunity to see the application of some of these lessons. Over Christmas of 2011 our dad, Kermit Burley passed along something that he has been writing over the years. It was a document that brought together everything that he felt were the most important lessons for us to take with us after he is gone. We are blessed that this day is nowhere near, and that there will be many more lessons for us to learn in the years that follow.
Through this platform our family is going to share Kermit’s words of wisdom so that more people will be able to benefit from the lessons that we have been honored to have experienced our entire lives.
